The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a vital part of an institution's quality assurance system. Established in accordance with the guidelines of accreditation bodies such as NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), the IQAC plays a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies for consistent improvement in academic and administrative performance.

Its primary aim is to create a system that fosters conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to enhance the quality of education and institutional processes. The IQAC works as a facilitative and participative organ of the institution, ensuring that quality becomes an integral part of the institution's functioning. It also promotes a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices to meet the evolving needs of students, staff, and society.

Through regular meetings, feedback collection, internal audits, and documentation, the IQAC ensures that quality standards are maintained, and efforts are made to achieve excellence in all areas of institutional activity.

Functions:

Develop and Apply Quality Benchmarks: Create standards for academic and administrative activities to ensure consistent quality improvement.

Facilitate a Learner-Centric Environment: Promote the use of innovative teaching and learning methods to make education more effective and student-friendly.

Promote Faculty Development: Organize workshops, seminars, and training programs to upgrade faculty knowledge and skills.

Collect and Analyze Feedback: Obtain feedback from students, parents, alumni, and other stakeholders to improve institutional processes.

Document Institutional Activities: Maintain records of quality assurance activities such as academic programs, research initiatives, and administrative reforms.

Disseminate Information on Quality Standards: Spread awareness among staff and students about various quality parameters and best practices.

Conduct Internal Academic Audits: Regularly review academic departments and administrative units to assess performance and suggest improvements.

Prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR): Compile a yearly report for submission to accreditation bodies, showcasing the institution’s quality initiatives.

Encourage Collaboration: Build networks with other institutions, industries, and research organizations for knowledge sharing and quality enhancement.

Promote Continuous Improvement: Ensure that the institution continually evolves through planned, structured, and systematic quality initiatives.
